Ok this is the last one for now

I found this pic on a site I visited, and just loved it, So I drew it also. Just have to figure out a way to keep it on the glass, without smearing.
I bought some sealant, and have sprayed Kendra's picture, but have to do it a few times I think. Posted by Picasa

Embroidery

I tried my hand at embroidery, and this is the result.I used three different colors of threads, dry brushed the material, then wet it to give an almost waxy feel and add more paint. As is the case with me I read about it after the fact..... and found out that I had done the stitches all wrong. But it turned out ok I think.
The shoe I did it on another piece of material, painted it twotone, sewed around it, then sewed the flower on, added some beads down the side then put batting on the back and applied it to the piece. I stitched green and purple funwire around the words, then added some of my failed attempt at homemade paper, torn up and add to the outside of the piece. Posted by Picasa

inkjet Transfer

This little cutie belongs to a friend of my mom's. He wanted to have her transfered onto a pillow.
I was so into doing this, but NOT paying attention to what I was doing. No cropping or any adjusting on my printer. The dog is B/W anyway, but I didn't capture that cute mug of hers.
Know better next time. (Here's Hopeing) LOL

Rust

Well Dianne... here is the rust techinque on material. (this is the same piece). The first one has less paint on it than the second. I thought it needed something more, so I added more color.

The paints used are Artist's pigment, Red oxide- burnt Sienna- and pumpkin.
I'm still going to add more to this as I think It could still use it.

The one on paper is not dry as yet and I'm chomping at the bit to get at it. LOL

Second attempt

OK ,OK last one of these.
This little thing was my second attempt at fairy shoes.
I made this one out of foam, with lace glued and sewn onto it. I sewed the sole onto the upper, added beads all around and tacked some on the top of shoe. Added some beads and a tiny piece of ribbon I had as a tassle. (love the ribon, got to get more, But where?) This ribbon was off of something I recieved on a gift wrapped present.

I remember thinking if I don't get this one right, I going to throw in the towel. But I'm glad I stuck to it, and it turned out to be quite a lot of fun.
