X-mas present exchange

Stamps, and cute notepad set from Dianne Beautiful lady from Suzanne, done in her great metal crafts. Plus my early gift, the craft box which is totlly full.

Side view of box from Dianne Top view
AND a great pair of slipper's from Suzanne (camera died, so pics later). These things are super. you can heat the inserts in micro wave or freeze them, whatever your heart desires at the moment. The inserts are filled with flaxseed. Not too great for walking, but ooooow, I heated them last night, and nice and toasty they were.
And a book card from Di, which tears at the heart strings.

Thank you both so very much, I love the gifts. Posted by Picasa

The aftermath

Well another Christmas has come and gone. Hope everyone had a safe and happy Christmas with lots of gifts from Santa.
Now is the time to relax and get ready for all the New Years festivities.

I for one had a great Christmas. It was quiet, just like I love it to be. I had a visit from my very best friends in the whole world, Dianne, Suzanne, and henry, which is always a treat, a few friends of mine and Danny dropped by and
I will be celebrateing on Friday with my family and friends at my eldest brother's home.

So....... It's the end of another year and resolutions are flying around. Iv'e heard some people's and thought I'd really like to be a fly on their walls just to see if they really keep them.LOL
I personally don't make them because it's too easy to break (no will power on my part I guess).

Well I'd like to wish one and all a very Happy and prosperous New Year.

Debbie's and my rewards

And as a thank you, Debbie and I recieved these yummy treats from the girls.
There were a few more, but they mysteriously disappeared.HUMMMM. Deb and I think they didn't want to eat any of their's, so they snuck our treats instaed. LOL

After we finished up in the kitchen we all retired to the liveingroom to watch movies. Mind you they were wired for sound at this point, so there wasn't too much watching, but ohhhhhhh boy there was a lot of giggling and talking.

The finished goods

Well a great time was had by all. The houses got completed, as did all the cookies.
Kendra and Micheala are hams as you can see, while Taylor was just content to sit this last picture out.
I believe her comment was "Give them the spotlight, I'm much too old for this". All of 9 yrs. old LOl
Although she did enjoy my takeing pics as she progressed with her house building.
