I guess you have been wondering what the *&^# has happened to me.
Well I am still here, alive and well, and I have been quite busy too. I just can't take any pics for you because the old camera is really screwed up. No matter what I do I can't get a good pic.
I changed the resolution........ didn't help, (sigh)
Gave the lens a really good cleaning................didn't help, (WAWAWA)
Threw it against the wall.................didn't help (GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR).
OK just kidding on that last one, but that's what I wanted to do.
So I guess you are stuck with li'l ole me for now.
I have been playing with my free trial of PSP (Photo Shop Pro) the last few weeks, and haveing a ball. There are so many things you can do with that programme, I just love it. I thank Carol, http://www.carolclasper.blogspot.com for that.( sorry, I can't figure out how to put in blogs so you can go right there, HELP.... ANYONE?????) She dose so many wonderful things with it that I just had to get it and try it out.
I did go to Costco to buy it, but there were none there that day, so I thought I'd try the trial version first. Well I can tell you that was one of my better ideas.
I think since I have to get a new camera anyway, I might as well pick up PSP as well on the same trip. A week or so left on the trial to go though. LOL
So in the mean time I'll just keep playing with that and keeping an eye on all you creative people out there for now.
This year is not starting out on the right foot it seems, first my camera dies on me , then all this snow...... I know, I know, that's what winter is all about, but I hate it OK. I did get a new printer for Christmas though and can't wait to use that, I'm letting the ink from the one I use now to be used up first, as I had just bought them before Christmas and their too much money to let just dry up.
Well folks, I don't want to bore you to tears, so I'll be off now. As soon as I can, I will post pics of my cards and drawings.
Have a great day/night all

For you LUCI
In response to you comment in my last post I though I'd show you the water soluable crayons.
This is a tin of 10, but you can get bigger ones. A tad on the expensive side, that's why I only got 10.
They are made by GARAN D'ACHE of Switzerland
10 Neocolor II water-soluable wax pastels. They come in three different shade groups that I know of.
KOH-I-Noor
finest hartmuth color
by Chartpak
made in the czech Republic.
And there are woodless Graphite pensils also.

Cards at last
Well it seems that since the new year I just can't get in the mood to do any crafts.
These two cards are put together from patterns that I sewed in Oct. 2006 and just never finished. So in trying to get in the mood I though why not try doing cards that were already in the makeings.
They both seem to be a bit fuzzy, Sorry for that, but I did try takeing pics of them a few times with the same results.
The wording on the top card reads "The heart that loves, is always young" in case it's not ledgible.
The red card is the original pattern with the grid still attach, while I did try to change it up a bit on the blue card, missing the mark at tad, I am still pleased the the result.

Day 6 of the New Year
It's now day six into the new year and I recieved this from a friend today.
This was wished to me, and in turn I wish this to you, all my blogger friends.
After serious and Cautious consideration.... your contract of friendship has been renewed for the year 2007.
My wish for you all in 2007
May peace break into your house and
may thieves come to steal your debts.
May the pockets of you jeans become a magnet for $100.00 bills.
May love stick to your face like vaseline,
and may laughter assult your lips.
May you clothes smell of success,
and may happiness slap you across the face.
May your tears be that of joy,
and may the problems you've had forget your home address.
To put it simply
May 2007 be the best year of your lives.
A bit dramatic, but effective and heart felt.

X-mas present exchange
Stamps, and cute notepad set from Dianne
Beautiful lady from Suzanne, done in her great metal crafts. Plus my early gift, the craft box which is totlly full.
Side view of box from Dianne
Top view
AND a great pair of slipper's from Suzanne (camera died, so pics later). These things are super. you can heat the inserts in micro wave or freeze them, whatever your heart desires at the moment. The inserts are filled with flaxseed. Not too great for walking, but ooooow, I heated them last night, and nice and toasty they were.
And a book card from Di, which tears at the heart strings.
Thank you both so very much, I love the gifts.

The aftermath
Well another Christmas has come and gone. Hope everyone had a safe and happy Christmas with lots of gifts from Santa.
Now is the time to relax and get ready for all the New Years festivities.
I for one had a great Christmas. It was quiet, just like I love it to be. I had a visit from my very best friends in the whole world, Dianne, Suzanne, and henry, which is always a treat, a few friends of mine and Danny dropped by and
I will be celebrateing on Friday with my family and friends at my eldest brother's home.
So....... It's the end of another year and resolutions are flying around. Iv'e heard some people's and thought I'd really like to be a fly on their walls just to see if they really keep them.LOL
I personally don't make them because it's too easy to break (no will power on my part I guess).
Well I'd like to wish one and all a very Happy and prosperous New Year.

Debbie's and my rewards
And as a thank you, Debbie and I recieved these yummy treats from the girls.
There were a few more, but they mysteriously disappeared.HUMMMM. Deb and I think they didn't want to eat any of their's, so they snuck our treats instaed. LOL
After we finished up in the kitchen we all retired to the liveingroom to watch movies. Mind you they were wired for sound at this point, so there wasn't too much watching, but ohhhhhhh boy there was a lot of giggling and talking.

The finished goods
Well a great time was had by all. The houses got completed, as did all the cookies.
Kendra and Micheala are hams as you can see, while Taylor was just content to sit this last picture out.
I believe her comment was "Give them the spotlight, I'm much too old for this". All of 9 yrs. old LOl
Although she did enjoy my takeing pics as she progressed with her house building.
