Hi everyone, I have nothing to share with you today, in fact all this week. I am trying to get my house all sorted out and doing a lot of packing and throwing out.
Yes we are moving, finally........ mind you not till the end of Dec. (PERISH THE THOUGHT), but it takes me forever to get things done with this bum leg of mine. It feels like I am getting nothing done with all the frequent rests I have to take, but we are getting there.
Dan will be gradually taking things over to the new house in a week or two, as there are Reno's going on at present, and the movers have changed their date twice now due to it being smack dab in the holiday season. Not the best time of year to move.
Anyway, just taking a min. to let you all know I am still here, and will be dropping by for quick hello's as I have my little rest stops.LOL

This card features a http://www.whiffofjoy.com/ Image.
I found this site today http://christmascardsallyearround.blogspot.com
from Enfy's blog http://going-buggy.blogspot.com/ and thought this card fit right in with their challenge to make a card with no traditional colors.
I stamped her 2x, one on water color pp, the other on whisper White. I think I will go over her with my H2O's , (so much for my Tip in the earlier post. I am testing myself i guess.lol)
After it was colored I cut her and misic out and adhered her to the Whisper white cs and that to the pink cs.
Paterened pp is from the Euphoria Paper pad by Memory Box. All was adhered to the pink cs base.
I almost forgot to mention I added the cotton to her scarf and hat, and a tiny silver star I had laying around. I fit too perfect on her star chain.
Ribbon from Michaels
flower from Dianne http://magpiesenvy.blogspot.com/

Helping Angel
This Whiff Of Joy Angel designed by Elisabeth Bell, is so helpfull, not to mention so adorable. I love the fact that she does dishes because that is a chore not to my liking.
As soon as she arrived in the mail I had to ink her up, mind you that was a week or two ago, oops... lol
I used my woodless pencils, purchased at a craft store downtown, to color her in then I stamped her again and after mounting them together leaving her wings and the bottom corners of her apron free, I cut them out leaving a slight white Margin around the whole image. I then restamped the plate and towel and adhered them with pop dots, curled the hem of her apron and the tips of her wings then layered that on top of the swiss dot oval.
The pp's I used are just loose 12 by 12 sheets from Michaels, sorry can't remember the name right now as they are scraps from pieces i used before. I punched a few dots from the green pp and added them to the dot pp then added the ribbon and the cute yellow bow to her hair.
The sentiment was a gift from Dianne http://magpiesenvy.blogspot.com and is the red rubber, soooo it was a bit hard to bend it so it would wrap around the bottom even after I seperated it, but it fit the image I went for it.
That's it for today

Christmas cutie
Again not a great pic DARN IT , but I lightened it up on one here so you could see the memorybox pp It's so yummy with all the gold flecks running through it.
This sweet image is from Heather's http://www.faeriesong.com/ new sheet of stamps, and every single one is too cute for words.
I stamped it on watercolor pp and used my H2O's to color her. I used glossy accents on the berries, and her chocker.
On the blue ribbon, a Michael's find, I colored a red and green stripe to match the pp and Gold embossed the sentiment.
Oh... and don't ya just LOOOOVVVEEE my sewing job? LOL
I really must invest in a sewing m/c cause that hand stitching is Kind-Of-A-Drag not to mention quite messy.
The rest is pretty splanatory, right Lucy?
Have a great day, and thanks for stopping by
Another Christmas card done
Well I have a few more Christmas cards done, yeah.
Sorry for the bad photo, but could not get it right for some reason.
I have a few options for a sentiment on this one, but will wait till I decide who it's going to.
The bird is one of five from the set 'Winter Birds' by Inkadinkado and purchased from
Sheila at http://www.scrappingreatdeals.com/
I stamped it on Whisper white cs with black StazOn, sponged around it with Rangers Distress Ink
' weathered Wood' then cut it out leaving the tips of the feathers out so they would look fluffed out. Added stickles to to his body to add some sparkle, not too visible here, but it is really blingy IRL.
The blue and silver stars are Martha Stewart glitter stickers that I bought last year on a Christmas shopping spree with my buddies Sue and Diane. Can you imagine, I forgot them till the other day.
Anyhoooo, I mounted that on watercolor paper I gave a wash to, added the black stones to each corner. And that's all she wrote, pretty Easy Peasy.
To all my Canadian blogging buddies HAPPY THANKS GIVING
And to everyone else I hope you had a wonderful weekend and an even better week ahead.

Monster Mummy?
I totally forgot to make and post Nolan's http://fred-she-said.blogspot.com/ 2nd Monster card.
Since it is almost Halloween, I thought I'd make him a Monster Mummy..a really hungry Mummy by the looks of him. he has only one bite left of his candy corn. And he is so full he has blue bloodshot eyes.

I sketched and cut out the fence behind him, added a handle and popped it up. I gave him a wild hairdo too with some fancy threads, don't he look sweet? I replaced the flower stem with his handwritten sign and the same fancy threads.
His eyes are punched out from the Glitter mat Stack cs I used behind him , and the purple cs was run through my cuttlebug with the swiss dots folder then sanded. His candy corn was punched with my Stampin' Up scalloped oval punch.
Oh and his legs are from one of the cute 'Nellie and Luca Halloween collection' stamps I just got. That's about it
Thnaks for stopping by today
