My granddaughter Taylor who will be 13 in May and I thought this image from
www.firecrackerdesignsbypamela.com would be great to use. I fussed with this so much and it's still not how I wanted it, but I'm calling it done.
I stamped the image with
Versamark then
StazOn and heat embossed with clear
ep, then I colored it with
Koh-I-
Noor woodless color pencils and blended it with
Ginak's OMS and blending stumps. I've had these paper doilies hanging around forever so I cut the centre out of one and adhered it to some vellum with what I thought looked like party flecks on it and cut and added the image with pop dots. punched both ends of cs added some satin ribbon and pink and blue rain dots.
For the inside I used the other doily and the centre of the first one, sponged the edges, stamped happy birthday and added that to the pink
vellum insert.
