A few days ago Dianne http://magpiesenvy.blogspot.com came to my house, and we had a ball just slapping paint on paper towels and generally just makeing a mess.
The end results were quite good, so I decided to do up a small sketch book for my purse useing some of these sheets.
First I podged the painted paper towels and let them dry, then I added more podge (Matte) and before it was completely dry I added some luminex powder in spots and some water color to add a bit more pizazz. I was going to add more, but it was looking and feeling really good at this point so I left it.
We had made books in a challenge last year so it was quite simple to put together, and now I have a great little book to try sketching something in while at all those long boreing hospital visits, and I just might be able to get ones that are in the EDM challenges while I'm at it.
The colors are really much more vivid then they appear here.

Tonniece!! How special this sketch book is. The colors are pretty, and I bet it’s far more beautiful in reality. And this sketch book fits in your purse so you can take it everywhere with you. Wow, how neat is that!
I like the EDM heart. And you stitched it to the cover? What is it made of? Wow … wow …
*It seems each time you and Dianne get together, "mess" happens. I think you two have so much fun together!
Hehehe, Luci I have high hopes of getting some sketching done in it, yes.
I did sew the hearts on the cover, they were an after thought just before I was ready to put it all together. It's just real heavy card stock. I think I put it on to remind me to take it with me at all times. Got to get caught up on those challenges you know. lol
Looks fab, Tonniece! Can't wait to see what beautiful things you draw in it!
I LOVE it fabulous use of the papers we made...
Great use of your papers Tonniece. It sounds like you and Dianne had a ball.
These colors are amazing...great work!

Now comes the scarey part, actually captureing and sketching something of intrest, and in such a small book. This is my challenge to myself.
I'm happy it turned out ok and that you all like it.
Have a great day ladies
