All fixed

This butterfly is the one I messed up a while back. So I repainted it and stitched it to a backing, then cut it out. (I really do need a sewing m/c, as my hand sewing is not that great). There is still some paint that has bled near the body, but I can live with that.I have no idea what I'm going to do with it , But I'm happy it wasn't ruined.

Well the recovery on the butterfly, excellent, and for the sewing machine, a better thimbul.
You will find a perfect thing to do with this I am sure.

What a transformation! I could hardly recognize this butterfly. I must say that it is beautiful, and you certainly can handstitch like the stitch fairy: am impressed! :)

I did find something to do with it as a matter of fact. I am going to put it in the card for Melanie.
I made a poem for her, and there is mention of a butterfly.

Surley you jest, ME A GOOD STITCHER? But thanks anyway. LOL

You have made a wonderful job of the butterly. I think it looks just gorgeous. Your stitching is excellent! You certainly have nimble fingers.

If you find it hard to stitch through the stabilizer then you need a thimble, I always use one when I am hand stitching. It just takes a bit of getting used to but it's well worth it.
